Blizzard 2008

The past day had seen the record breaking blizzard in Columbus history. The snow is 20.4” inch deep (more than 50cm)!! The previous record was 15.3” in 1910, almost a hundred years ago.

We got nowhere to go but stuck in the house all day. Luckily, we had enough food and water/power supply wasn’t affected. Below are some pictures that were taken during the blizzard.

1. During the snow storm

2. Snow on bushes

3. More snow on bushes

4. Dig out the front yard the next day moring

5. After digging out the front yard. See, the snow is up to my knee!

6. My ugly little snow man.

I have never seen so much snow in my life. It’s scary and fun too. More pictures can be found in the new album "Blizzard 2008."
